Our work wouldn't be possible without volunteers, like you. Many of our volunteers have been with us for 14+ years. If you are looking to work hard, make a difference, and form life-long friendships, this is for you.

What you can expect:

• 1 week of travel (usually Saturday-Saturday). This typically includes travel from home to site, screening day, 5 days of surgery, and travel day from site to home. 

• Flights, transportation, lodging, and meals covered by Sharing Smiles

• Long but rewarding days

• Opportunities to connect with volunteers from across the US and the host country site

• Interactions with some of the best patients and families in the world

• A forever changed outlook on what is possible when people come together to do great things

While we are primarily seeking medical volunteers, we are sometimes able to invite non-medical volunteers as well.  There's a lot for everyone to do, let's talk!
